Anpa Wi comes from the Native American language of the Dakota tribe, and is their word for "Sun". We opened our store in 2008 because we wanted to start a long lasting business invested in distributing solar and other green products, knowing that alternative energy products like solar panels were improving and poised to become a more primary source of energy than they had been in the past.
We are happy to see that solar energy is improving in both efficiency and popularity. Solar panels, solar lighting, solar water heating and solar battery chargers as well as many other solar items are more popular than ever.
Since we opened our sun store, we have added other environmentally friendly products. We not only carry solar panels and battery chargers, we now have a wide range of solar powered garden lights, solar water and fountain pumps, we have eco friendly electronics, and our Just-4-Kids section has some educational bath sponges that are shaped like endangered animals. We have a blog for the kids to chat about going green too, as well as one for adults.
Our portable solar panel will charge a laptop while you are on the run.
