This is a short book designed to teach young children how solar energy, solar panels and solar power works through art. The characters take them on a journey through the home to explain how it works. The writer picked a teenage illustrator so that this would relate well to children. Her drawings came from what she learned about solar power to do this book. She also talked to some young children about what they would like to learn from. They may use crayons, paint pencils or whatever they like to use to learn with.
