It is sometimes difficult to explain to children how energy from the sunshine converts to the same energy that runs the lights in their room.    Our printable, downloadable coloring and activity book attempts to do this in a simple way that children can easily understand and that makes it fun for them to figure out.

 The adventures of Sunny and Ray is about two characters that go through a typical home from the time they rise and shine on the solar panels, the journey into the various rooms of the house all through the day and how solar energy gives them the electricity to run their TV’s and computers to the hot water for their showers. They may color the pages however they like it is just important that they learn the concept of how solar energy works.
